This video-based discussion course is based on the PICK program (aka, How to Avoid Falling for a Jerk/Jerkette). Each of the six lessons have a 20-minute video presentation. Individuals learn a plan for building safe and healthy relationships with the Relationship Attachment Model (RAM), and the skills needed to develop and discern five key areas of character and relationship potential. They will explore the impact of their family upbringing, the maturity of their consciences and crucial skills for meaningful communication and conflict resolution. They learn three areas of compatibility and how to evaluate their relationship scripts. They gain a plan for building trust, mutual reliance, forming commitments, and pacing their physical involvement in romantic relationships. The questions in the Discussion Guide allow for participants to discuss their most meaningful relationships (romantic, friendships, family relationships).
Comes in either Christian or Community (non-faith) versions.
